Handy single channel relay

I waited till I had used these and very good they were too. They have just been in use for three weeks switching regularly about 500 times a day and none used failed. I even set two up with 6V and they worked perfectly. Do not connect to the Arduino 5V supply off the board, there is not sufficient power available for these, use an additional supply. These require about 60mA to switch. I really like the led signalling contact position, open or closed, can be seen from a distance ensuring the relay has functioned as wanted. I would recommend these.

Holiday arrangements made easy

This feeder came recommended by many users so I got one. Had to modify the feed slot to take sinking fish food, no problem. I also built a small frame so that the unit could stand on a Bio-Orb 60L tank above the feed hole in the lid. I now do not have to arrange for a neighbour or relative to feed the fish when away, and the fish have become trained to the quiet whirring as the unit rotates to supply their food. I was building a unit myself, but this is far better.

Pop-pop boat engine material

I specifically purchased this shim to make end plates for a series of pop-pop boat engines I built. It was really easy to use, took solder very well [from silver down to electrical solder] without distortion. Cuts very easily with scissors too so trimming off not a problem. So good I got two lots.
