If you use Nikon 1 then this is the lens for landscapes.
It is light and compact. Produces very sharp images with good colour and contrast. I have just changed from a high end Nikon DSLR with expensive lenses to a Nikon 1 V2 (used, not new) because the image quality is as good especially with this lens. Do I know what I am talking about? I have been a keen amateur for decades and am an advanced worker at camera club level.

Cheap, sloppy,
This is a cheap, quick release, mount that is a sloppy fit allowing the screen to droop. This can be compensated by packing the screen mount. So, has limitations but is value for the money.
