Great sounding old school Marshall amp tone in a pedal. No frills. Easy to operate and dial in a good tone. Outstanding for rock crunch rhythm!
Very simple pedal in every way. Which is good. It gives my Fender tube amps a bit of old school 70's Marshall amp vibe. Great pedal for crunch rhythm parts. There isn't a ton of gain in this pedal, which in this case, is a good thing. Sounds a lot like an old Marshall amp to me (I used to own a JCM800 in the 80's). Very punch sound and I love the "spongie-ness" of the pedal that you can actually feel when you're playing. Sorta like real amp tube compression/sag. Very cool. I also like how there is a bass boost switch if you need it (thin sounding guitar or amp). I watched lots of YouTube videos on this pedal before I bought it, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I prefer this smaller single foot switch version vs. the bigger 2 switch version as I can boost this pedal with any booster pedal I want (Boss SD-1, Tubescreamer, etc.). Great sounding pedal. Very happy I finally have one. Oh and I love that union jack logo!!! My first experience with a Wampler pedal was not a good one (Tumnus Deluxe), but this time I got it right. The Plexi Drive rocks!

Love this pedal! Great classic rock tones!
I'm currently using this pedal as my main crunch rhythm sound for the Beatles tribute band I'm in. If you turn the speaker emulator off, it works great in front of a guitar amp! It doesn't sound exactly like a Vox AC30 amp, but it gets you in the ball park. I set the treble and middle down a bit to about 10 o'clock. I put the low end just over half way, drive a little less than 1/2 way, and the character knob about 3/4 of the way. This gives me a great full sounding edgy rock tone that's still clear enough to hear individual note definition and it cleans up very well with your guitar's volume knob.
I had tried using the Joyo AC Tone pedal which is a good pedal too, but it does not have a switch to turn off the spkr emulator, so it sounds good going straight into a PA or mixing console or computer interface for recording, but it didn't sound good going straight into my guitar amp unless I turned the treble way down. I like the Liverpool much better for live work going straight into an amp. I also run a Boss SD-1 or a Xotic BB Preamp as lead boosters going into the Liverpool which works really well. This is a great pedal that I think flies very much under the radar. Very tweakable drive pedal to get you the sound you want. Lots of great classic rock tones in that pedal!

Great locking tuners!
Perfect replacement set of tuners for my late 80's Charvel that had non locking tuners. Didn't even have to drill new holes for the little screws that keep the tuner in place on the back of the head stock. These tuners fit perfectly and seem very solidly built. Already noticing better tuning stability vs the old non locking tuners. My Charvel has a Wilkinson non locking trem system with a Graphnet nut. So the misisng piece was to get locking tuners. Don't think you could find better value for quality tuners like these. Quite pleased with this purchase!
