Not what I expected.....
It is my opinion, this was not a 2SD1264A transistor like the ones I have. On the printing, the word, "Japan" was off centered, the Mashushita logo was botched, there was an odd looking dust on the device and the leads were not as stiff as the reference device. The original device is rated at 2 amps max. D.C. current and has very stiff hard to bend steel leads--even more stiff than on a MJE series transistor. The electrical tests I performed on the device did not measure up to the reference device. I'm glad I tested the waters by only buying one. I'm a down to the component level pro audio service specialist, with over 30+ years repairing professional audio.

Haven't used it yet, but it looks and smells like Kester solder.
