Good job, rough finish though
Used on my 5 series near side headlight, before was cloudy with barely any light coming through, I used a battery drill with the attachment, sandpaper was great, cut through the oxidisation easily, maybe 15 min sanding, polishing paste wasn’t great, half was near solid, half looked like inside a baby’s nappy, rubbed and mixed on the lens in3 stages it did a reasonably good job polishing the lens (you only see the clarity when it’s wet and compound washed off), finishing layer has left the headlight feeling “rough” or unfinished to the touch, with a very slight haze compared to the perfect off side headlight, but well MOT passable, I didn’t pay much for this kit so was expecting much worse results than what I got, if you don’t need absolute perfection it’s great value, under £20 versus the cost of a new headlight unit (£499(BMW prices 🙁)
