Boxes too hard to open
The lids on the individual boxes vary in tightness. Some are impossible to open - until their plastic catch breaks.

Really is a 6803 strip
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich No real problems with this 6803 strip. Works like a Dream. Even managed to make an arduino do random changes of the program using 433MHz transmissions emulating the RF remote control.
It is not documented how you change the "length" setting in the controller. Press the "power off" button - but do not disconnect the power supply. Then you press the length buttons +/-. Each strip is a multiple of "50" - which is the default value - as there is one 6803 IC for each three RGB LEDs. So for 10 metres ( strips) set it to "100".
Be careful - some other sellers are advertising "6803" strips but sending an incompatible "UCS1903" type. The difference can sometimes be seen in listing pictures - but some mistakenly use "6803" pictures. "6803" strip is 17mm wide with the 16 pin 6803 IC mounted crosswise. The segments are joined by 4 connector pads.
The "UCS1903" strip is 12mm wide with the 8 pin IC mounted lengthways. Segments are joined by 3 connector pads. It may have a 4 pin plug but only three pins are wired (no "clock" line).

Good spanner length - but needed fewer and wider pockets.
The roll easily takes the length of my long spanners - which was the major factor in my purchase. Unfortunately those are also the larger spanner head sizes of about 19mm to 24mm - and only two of the eight pockets are wide enough to take them easily.
Have forced three smaller ring ends into narrow pockets - and the leather seems to stretch. Those spanners are rarely used - so the roll will do its job of keeping them together in storage. Will see if the local cobbler can rework the six narrow pockets to make three wide ones - which will then make it perfect.
