Excellent value whatever your level of expertise
I love this book. I'm just getting into patchwork and quilting and the great thing about "The Joy of Jellyrolls" is that it has 44 gift projects and 22 quilts so this should grow with my capabilities.

Always excellent
My mum has a Good Housekeeping Step-by-Step cook book that she got in her 20s, I got one in my 20s and I bought my daughter this one when she went to uni. Unfortunately hers got lost in a series of house moves so it was nice to find a copy of the edition she had. These are brilliant books covering all aspects of home cooking and it's interesting to see how the editions have evolved to cover new ingredients and techniques making as relevant today as is was in the 1950s when my mum got hers. A good staple book to have in the kitchen.
