Great Looking and Sounding Kit
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I owned one of these sets with two floor toms and the same finish and was surprised as to the quality of the set and sound. The only reason I sold it on was it was too big for me to tote around. I'm on social security now. I was impressed by the fact I did not have to change the tom or snare drum heads, they sounded great out of the box. I did put an Aquarian SuperKick II on the bass drum. Perfect.
I recommend this set for Rock, Blues, etc. The best bang for the buck when I bought it and all maple too boot.

All You Need
I have had Gibraltar, Ludwig, DW 5000, and DW 6000 hat stands but this is all you need. I have two of them and they are not too heavy or light. Dependable and sturdy.

Biggest Bang For The Buck
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Just purchased one of these sets in White Sparkle (looks more like Silver) as a back up set and was I surprised. First, let me say that I have been playing since 1958 and have owned a bunch of drum sets. I owned a set of Gretsch Catalina Clubs in these sizes and really loved them. What drew me to the Tamas was the maple shells and Tama quality. These drums tuned right up out of the box. Unheard of for a set at this price point. And the hardware is just a step above other kits at this level (but on a par with my old Catalina Clubs). The set is very powerful for a BeBop kit especially the bass drum. I am going to tone it down with Remo FiberSkyn heads because I play Jazz and the drums need a little punch taken out! Other high point marks go to the simple and secure bass drum riser and a cut out of the batter side bass drum hoop so the pedal misses the hoop. Great idea.
I highly recommend them for the light weight, Bop sizes, and the incredible sound with the provided heads. Fantastic value for the money.
