Mob Deep
It’s a Great album and it still stands.
I still think 90s Hip Hop supersedes most of the stuff that came out in the last 20 years.
Plus you got to remember these are the Guys who shook down Tupac for all his Gold. Guess that’s what you get when paper Gangsters think they can meet Real Gangsters on equal terms.
Honourable mentions to Wu Tang around the way.

6/10 very generous to Pawty/Osprey
I have to be really honest; there has been a changing of the Guard so to Speak. Pawty is not the writer that Haythornwaite ever was.
I don’t think his research is as good as it could have been. I would regard his research as “fair but lazy.”
As far as the illustrations? They are disgusting! The Uniform plates that “used to” be in Osprey titles such as the geniuses Bukhari/Mcbride; inspired a whole generation ; of painters and Military enthusiasts. Pawty’s work? Just does not cut it for me. 6/10
