Record Stabilising
This piece does two different jobs the felt underside rest on the disc too ensure no scratches etc. Allowing the weight of the clamp to firmly hold the disc down reducing vibration that affects the sound. Probably not noticed on a budget turntable but must help needle ware.
Secondly the built in spirit level allows you to level up the turntable prior to arm set up. A must if you want the most from your cartridge.
It also allows you to monitor the deck over a period of time.
Price was very reasonable and reasonably delivery times.
