Ghost Ship
Great thriller with a good ending.A gripping story good tension.The cast are quite good with many twists and turns. some really good scenes.Watch out for the maggots.

TVonics MFR-300 Receiver
i had an old portable television that didn't have any connections (scart,rca etc) apart from an aerial socket, with the digital switchover coming fast i was left with the decision do i dump the good working little portable television from the bedroom or seek out a way of getting free-view,after a little research i found there to be a way of doing this with a receiver.after viewing the three in the article opted for he TVonics MFR-300 receiver as it seemed to be the easiest to hook up and work.it comes with its own wired infra red signal receiver from the remote.you link the receiver between your aerial and TV.then select a station number for it to tune in to then scan for stations,the way free-view boxes are set up.then you just turn the TV on select the channel its programmed too and select the free-view channel you want on the remote supplied.all works well.really small box can be placed anywhere and the infra red ball is small not to be seen too.only down side is that i find is could of done with a sucker to stick on to the set but that was rectified with self adhesive Velcro. all in all brought free-view to and old TV so 9/10

driven to distraction
This first journey in to tv for britains top comic Peter Kay. Early days and it shows. Bit dry. Doesnt know whether to be drama or comedy. This story plus Peter Kays adventures into coronation street. Good for fans but i personally think it is pretty average.
