A terrific read
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this as reading for a book club I attend, though I had read it many years ago, I could not remember it well enough. DO NOT expect this book to be a screenplay for the movie BLADERUNNER, it has been substantially changed. That said, this book is a great read and left me wondering if any humans really exist in this post nuclear war world, the film was less provocative on this point. Philip K Dick was a truly imaginative writer (also wrote the books that became Total Recall, Minority Report, Adjustment Bureau) but this is his finest work. A must for all Sci-Fi buffs and beyond

A very pulp fiction like book
Christopher Priest wrote the book that later became the film Pulp Fiction. It takes a while to realise that the order of events is not as written and much longer to appreciate which order he really did happen

Easy to follow recipes
I don't know if these recipes really reduce cholesterol, all I can say is that the recipes be tried have been delicious and very easy to make. It's one of the easiest books to read and follow while cooking and was worth buying
