Highest quality genuine Tanuki
Exceptional quality, exactly the same as ones I saw for sale in Japan, but was afraid might get broken in my suitcase. These are handmade and handpainted by a specialty pottery company, there are cheaper simpler ones available but not with this much 3D detail... frankly they are expensive, but worth it if you want one, don't settle for a cheap copy and you will not be disappointed. We saw lots of these outdoors in garden and walkway areas in mountain villages in the Kansai area...my wife made him a 'home' from a large square platter and put moss, pinecones, branches etc. around him and the effect is really great!

Have used only Brooks Beast for probably 15 yrs, on the recommendation of my Pedorthist (licensed healthcare provider). For support, I use the orthotics he supplied, they are modified Birkenstock brand units with glued on foam for heel lift and stabilization, under the Brooks insoles, although one is quite thick, they fit perfectly, this is not possible with many brands . The only CON to these is that the grey fabric is extremely prone to soiling and spotting, permanently.
