All Hail Megatron!

But somewhere along the way, they lost their way and began to favor the cartoon vision exclusively. This version of Megatron, however, successfully strikes that balance once again. This iteration blends the brilliantly colorful kaleidoscope of the original toy and the classic intimidating stature of the original toon archvillain. With MP-36+, both Megatrons truly live. All hail Megatron--both of them!

Great Dose of '80s Nostalgia
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Always good for a trip down memory lane. The G1 animated TF movie inadvertently became a cult classic. The way it handles a beloved character initially made it a financial and fan failure. All the filmmakers wanted to do with it was to eliminate the first wave of toys characters, then advertise the next wave. But in addition to that they actually accidentally touched the minds and hearts of millions of kids worldwide. Eventually fans forgave them for it and learned to appreciate all that this little movie offers.
This package is overflowing with extras, spread across both discs. In them, the movie's makers readily admit the above. It's hard to imagine how the recently announced upcoming Blu-Ray edition could possibly top this.

Gutturrr is Grrreat!
Huge size. Heavy. Gorgeous finish. Tickles my G1 nostalgia bone while also including tons of detail to give it a premium look and feel. Ridiculously out of scale with a real Stegosaurus, and probably technically too big to properly scale with other G1 Masterpiece figures too, but I think he's all the more glorious for it. I do wish the dinosaur head and tail had more articulation though since this guy is supposed to turn around and smash things with his tail, and he should be able to see what he's aiming at. Very happy to go with Gigasaurs rather than FansToys Iron Dibots.
