Smoky Mountain Pickin' is a great title for this disk .
This compilation is super well recorded although being deaf in one ear I
did not like the few in stereo but hey are easy enough to convert to mono
with the right software. My favorite track is Cannonball Blues by Clarence Jackson and James Wall.
It is a very good value. Most were recorded in the 1970S and me being
an oldtime musician I love the earlier sounds from the 1940s.

the late John R T Davies. Much of the 1928 to 1929 tracks have been done
many times before but this is the first set to offer the very RARE Jimmie
Noone sides of 1931 and 1932, the original 78's only exist now in
collectors hands and most of the records are so rare that only 5 to 10 copies
exist still throughout the world. A rare chance to hear some of the Rarest!
