Caveat Emptor!
Whirlpool WHER25 reverse osmosis water filter system appears to have an inherent manufacturing defect. I have owned this filter for two years with a constant slow leak (drip). Upon close inspection, I have located a small hairline crack near the water inlet. It is impossible to repair, and the only solution is to replace the entire unit. I recently purchased the same unit on eBay (USED!) to replace my defective one, only to learn that it had a more severe leak than the one it was supposed to replace. Considering I have three new filters, I would like to put them to work. However, Whirlpool does not offer this unit anymore (for obvious reasons) which prompts me to write this review. Let the buyer beware! There is no warranty on this unit. Figure the odds that this filter is going to function flawlessly. If you are willing to take this risk, then contact me. I have a unit I would be willing to part with for less than anything you will find out there ;-)

Find a local shop to try on for proper size!
The cheek pads in the three Shoei helmets purchased are all too big. All three are different size helmets so I had to track down smaller pads for each of them. There is no phone number for shoei to ask about an exchange for the pads. Everything pointed me back to eBay! The new correct size pads cost approximately $45.00. I still have the pads that are too large and will have to take the time to sell on eBay. Obviously part of the problem is buying online. You really can’t “try before you buy.” Got a good deal, but did I really? Just a cautionary tale. In the end it will be a great helmet.
