I am in the process of downsizing. The large items are mostly sold, donated, or given away. Now I am focusing on more personal items that were expensive when new but which I no longer use. A few tools and light fixtures will also be included.

Unfortunately I Have Been Both
This book was bought as a gift for a relative who is completing a new home in a desirable tourist location. Being retired on a smaller income that I would care for, I read it first. I knew I had been a hostage on a few occasions, but to my horror, I realized that on a couple of occasions I had briefly crossed the line into being a hostage-taker.
Thankfully there has only been one incident where I had to order somebody out of my house, and this happened at 10 PM on a work night. A couple of others and I myself recognized the gentle nudges of when it was time to go and followed through.
Read this book! It will help you be a better host and a better guest, and it might even prevent estrangement from people you care about.

Glad I bought it
It appears to be well made for what it is, a device madeof thin stampted metal. Everything fit together perfectly. Instructions for those not mechanically intuititve would be helpful for some customers. It works well and brings back memories of Christmas Past, and I am optimistic that it will not tarnish like brass units often do.
