The knob is designed to turn the wrong direction
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The reason I wanted to replace some wall switches with a timer was because lights were sometimes being forgotten to be turned back off when not in use. These timers can only be turned clockwise so therefore start at 60 minutes and the farther you turn it, the shorter the time it will be set to stay on. It must be turned a great distance to be set at 5 or 10 minutes so I know this will never happen if they can't flip a switch back off. I was expecting the opposite. I might as well leave the wall switch alone as I have a better chance of having a closet light (for example) being shut back off in a few minutes than I do of the knob being turned completely to 5 minutes.
