Solid quality
I bought 10 of these. They must have an effective quality control, because they were identical and all work extremely well. Comparing to what I saw at Lowes, I should have expected to pay several times as much for the quantity I bought.

Works perfectly.
3 von 4 finden das hilfreich I give this 5-stars, due to the low-price, and convenient bottle design. Plugs into center yellow service port of your AC gauges, to help reload refrigerant. Stands up-right or upside-down (when loading). This helped fix our 10 year-old system. Follow all applicable state, local and federal laws, when using. Don't knock the bottle around too much, as its under high-pressure. Store safely. I am not sure of how long it will hold in this bottle, but I am hoping, indefinitely.

Solid, quality feel and appearance
The mechanism is a bit different than the Kwickset handles I am used to, but the result is a cleaner look with no glaring holes, like many sets have. It fit right into the slot of my old Kwickset, but the striker was square and not rounded, like the Quickset. A little bit of chiseling and it fit. The depth is adjustable by rotating an inside piece. The instructions sent with the handle seemed to be for a different, but similar model. They worked well enough for me to figure out how to install and remove it. I like the bent-back end, because that prevents anyone from running into the wrong end of the handle or snagging something (it can still happen, just less likely). The mechanism is quieter than the old Kwickset, smoother and easier to operate. Still, the inside spring feels strong enough--just the right about of tension to keep it working for a dozen years or more, but not too much to make it difficult for a disabled person to open it. The lack of fancy lines and holes, makes this handle easier to keep clean. It feels like solid nickel, but I am not sure if it is. Its a tough surface and, so far, I don't think I'll ever find out if its just plated or not, cause nothing seems to scratch it.
