quality speaks for itself
just what I wanted. I have a boiler that even Noah might have used and I can still get replacement parts! There isn't much 50 year old electronic equipment that you can get replacement parts that fit into their old housing is there? I think that speaks for itself about anything you need to know.

it wakes me up
I wanted an analog alarm clock because I get fed up with pressing buttons on digital clocks. I like buttons that only do one one thing and knobs to turn to change the time. This clock has these features, the alarm is loud, and the vibrater will wake you if the alarm doesn't and you can turn the illuminated clock face off so its not shining at you at night. All in all a very satisfactory purchase. My only niggle is that there isn't a single button to turn the alarm off and on. You have to use a slider switch that gives you four alternative alarm modes, the fourth one of which is off.
