Almost Great Reissue
The remastering of this album has resulted in noticeably improved fidelity. However, there are a few imperfections in the pressing of the copy I received. If Reprise Records had exhibited more quality control in their part of the process, it would be an outstanding reissue.

Classic yet still very much relevant
9 von 9 finden das hilfreich Although this lens is one of Nikon's older designs still in production I would rate it as one of the their sharpest lenses currently available. Even though it is made for a very specific use, and not a lens that everyone might need, they managed to make the design of this lens to a point of near perfection. Since most experienced users manually focus macro lenses, I hope if Nikon ever updates the design to incorporate faster autofocusing that they don't compromise its optical quality. Why attempt to fix something that isn't broken?

As with most Verve issued recordings, this one sounds great!
