Early Attachment Deficit - The Nature of Nurture
Frances Hodgson Burnett, captures the heartbreaking sense of isolation experienced by children who; for whatever reason, dwell on the perimeter of connectedness.
The reader commences a journey through the oppressive heat and sadness of India as experienced by our heroine; ten year old Mary. Her socialite mother; along with many household help, have been taken by the disease of the age.
