It all depends what you're looking for
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This reeds is great for situations where the traditional cane would dry out (i.e. marching band or outdoor playing, swapping between sax and clarinet playing). Also, this reed cannot produce very loud "ffff" sound and the sound it produces doesn't have colour (i.e. overtones). After about an hour of playing, its properties begin to change in a negative way. So, it all depends on the playing situation. This plastic reed is very consistent with same reeds of same strength from same manufacturer. That's definitely an advantage. However, personally I prefer the traditional reeds for their warm, deep and colour rich sound.

Just Excellent all around.
I absolutely love these reeds. They have tip thickness of 0.11mm, which I think creates a much warmer, full-bodied tone.

One word to describe it: SUPERB!
This barrel is fantastic. The quality is impeccable and the sound is magnificent!
