Great Ultralight Spincaster
The Diawa Minicast 40 is a great ultralight spincaster reel. Easy to use and handles small and medium sized fish well. When paired with a lightweight rod, the combo is like a feather in your hand. The only downside I've seen to far is that the drag adjustment is a bit tricky. You can go from too little drag to too much drag quickly. This is not a major problem, but something to watch out for if you are trying to land a larger fish. I highly recommend this reel for those looking for an easy to use, lightweight spincaster. Would be great for children or those new to fishing.
