The paint is quite good - it is oil base...
The paint is quite good - it is oil based and therefore needs white spirit to clean it from brushes. I effectively had to give my gate two coats to get it to a satisfactory standard, although admittedly it was showing signs of rust in places. It is quick drying - usually dry in an hour. Overall a good product.

The Dawn of the Sixties
I like this DVD and the television program on which it is based. It is a bit of a 'factoid' in the sense that while it is based on real events it is sometimes difficult to assess where reality ends and fiction begins. Nevertheless I thought it was a well acted, well written, thought provoking piece of drama.

The time of The Animals
I enjoyed 'The Most Of The Animals' who were one of the most significant UK bands of the early to mid sixties. Most of the tracks were covers such as the traditional 'House Of The Rising Sun' and the Mann/Weil ' We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place'. Despite a few Burdon/Price originals they never seem to have developed as songwriters to the extent of contemporaries the Rolling Stones. Nevertheless a strong and impressive compilation.
