1 von 3 finden das hilfreich I have a baby girl Betta and she has been far more active now that the water temperature level is more suited to her species. I have been using a timer with it as I am a little nervous about it getting too hot. I have been keeping a close eye and it seems she is happy anywhere from 75 - 80 degrees which I am working on managing via the timer. I did notice that when we were colder in the room and used a heater the tank heater did not adjust and balance (lack of an internal thermostat I guess) and so the water did reach 86 which she then seemed as lethargic as she had at 69 degrees. If you don't have the time or patience to deal with these sort of fluctuations there are small tank thermometers with internal thermostats set for about 77 degrees from what I have found. I may purchase one of those and keep this one as an emergency back up in case of future needs.
