Ok reel but drag could be stronger.
I purchased this reel to pair with my new Fenwick Aetos 5wt fly rod. The reel seems to be well made. I loaded it with 90 yards of 12lb backing and a full sink fly line. This will be my setup for spring Shad fishing in the James River in Richmond VA. My only issue with this reel thus far is the drag can only be tightened so far. And at max setting I can still pull line out somewhat easily. So in my opinion the drag could be better. Since this is on a 5wt it’s not that big of a deal for me. But I would be hesitant to put this reel on my 7wt steelhead rod due to the hard runs of a steelhead. As I pull the line out it does feel very smooth. I like that spare spools are readily available, kinda pricey though. All in all, I’m satisfied with this reel so far. I will update soon after I use this reel during the Shad season next month. I have been fly fishing 30+ years and own over a dozen fly rods and reels.

Basic Funnels
Exactly what I needed. Small white funnels. Nothing fancy, just plain white basic hard plastic funnels.
