Can not be bettered
This is one of the best science-fiction movies I have ever seen. It is by far the superior of any other sci-fi film made in the 1950s.
I have not seen the re-make and after seeing this version; could not imagine it to be any better!
It really deserved an Academy Award; not just a Golden Globe.

A film well ahead of its time.
A very entertaining film with a thought-provoking story. The SFX is well ahead of its time and the last scenes extremely well done.

Excellent film and as a quality bonus; shot on real film, not ephemeral digital.
