Ultimate X-Men: Hellfire and Brimstone Volume 4 (2006, Trade Paperback) Marvel

Volume 4 of a nice series

I honestly love Ultimate X-Men, partly bc it’s the first full run of X-Men I’ve ever read. I think some of the twists they make on mainline Marvel stories make the Ultimate universe really compelling. Ie this is the start of the Phoenix sub plot, and seeing it done with a little more realism was really fascinating. Anyway, if you haven’t read much X-Men before, I highly recommend Ultimate X-Men.

I had been watching the anime for nostalgia’s sake and wanted to get the v pets that started it all! I’m having a blast with it.
