Bachmann Spectrum N Scale KCS USRA Light 2-10-2 DCC Steam Locomotive #220

This Heavy Hauler is an excellent choice.

Bachmann's 2-10-2 is a fabulous steam locomotive model. Equiped with DCC, it is easy to get on the rails and start hauling your favorite train. With a blind middle driver it can handle sharp curves well. Detailing and pulling power is great. I now own 5 and they will make up a good portion of my motive power. Prototypically used has helpers or main locomotive on mountain railroads. Two things I wish the model had: 1) a vanderbuilt tender, and 2) sound installed. Bachmann has made it easy to swap out tenders and just as easy to change decoders to equip it with sound. An excellent locomotive all-in-all. Just to add, it can be converted to DC by adding the jumpers provided and removing the decoder.

Love these saws.

I prefer these saws over using a Dremel or other saws for fine modeling work. Especially cutting gaps in track that was already laid. The seem to wear very well, and the molding of the handle seems pretty ergonomic.
