Purchasing The Chronological Donald Vol. 4: 1951-1961 (of the Walt Disney Treasures / Collectible Tins ) completes my collection.. And I 'm thrilled.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich All the animation from the Disney Studios when Walt Disney was alive (and could give his stamp of approval on the finished product) was excellent. His creation, Donald Duck, was his most popular with the public -- the animation kept getting better and better as time went on. This collection (vol. 4) was the capstone / end of the era for the Donald Duck cartoons. As far as good value-- that depends if you're an animation fanatic like me. These collectible tins had a limited release-- so they are rarer than average product. They are actually pretty damn expensive ...but I am pleased with my purchase, regardless.

Must-own novels for Ian Fleming/James Bond fans
Well... I know this is 'unfashionable' (in a popular sense), but I enjoy the Ian Fleming novels even more than the movies that ensued. Fleming is a great writer. I appreciate his style and his descriptive and involving storytelling. To me, almost everything he ever wrote was a masterpiece (some of the short stories and Moonraker fell a little short of his typical brilliance, but overall, Fleming is such a compelling author that I went about collecting everything of his he had a hand in (I even bought the DVD of the TV movie made from his story "The Poppy Is Also a Flower" from the early 1960s). At one time, I owned all the Bond books in paperback. But I got it into my head that I also wanted his work (as many as I could find) in hardcover. I scoured eBay and the used book sites and found this omnibus collection to add to the Bond titles of those I was missing.
