2. Notably, it has more input ports namely, USB, network, parallel, and thumb - drive (located in front). The varieties of input ports are important and handy for connecting to different computers, cameras, and thumb - drives. This printer has no WI-FI input port - the wireless connection via wireless routers or mobile phones found in other brands. But, to me, the devoid of such wireless connection is not a setback at all since hard-wire connection is the most reliable and secured one, without messy set-up, no wireless interference, and less worrying about eavesdropping.
3. Incidentally, this is my second printer HL - 4050CDN, subsequent to the first one purchased in Jan 2010. These 2 similar printers have reliably churned out vibrant and crisp color reports and project papers for my family members and me.
4. There are features to monitor and log remaining life of drum unit, belt unit, fuser unit, and toner cartridges (Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow), pages printed, paper jammed, IP setting, etc. Additionally, via "Printer Properties - Advanced" of Windows, users may also set their preferred print quality, color mode, etc. However, these features, also found in other brands, are "good to have". Right now, I am still trying to set the Properties - Advanced to rectify the slightly lighter color printout especially fed from a lower resolution digital photo.
5. Now, the crux of the matter dreaded by users - the expensive consumables of toner cartridges, drum unit, belt unit, waste toner box, etc. My personal experience showed that the cost of printing and maintenance in laser printers is still more economical over ink jet printers, bubble jet printers, ribbon printers, etc. In 8 years of using Brother HL-4050CDN, I only replaced toner cartridges (Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow) 2 times, and replaced the drum unit; belt unit and waster toner box once in Jan 2015. According to what had been stated, the Black Toner TN155BK can print up to 5,000 pages while the other the Magenta TN155M, Cyan TN155C, and Yellow TN155Y cartridges of Brother HL-4050CDN can print up to 4,000 pages each.

Meike MK-430 TTL Flash Speedlite for Canon 430EXII is awesome
Apart from having additional features, MK-430 TTL Flash Speedlite appears to be faster in response to the camera's settings while in TTL mode. Hence, I am happy!
