An excellent movie that will make you cry as well as laugh.
Blake comes to terms with all the embarrassing moments in his childhood and teens that he endured from his father. A very moving story that reminds those of us who have ever experienced the death of a parent and the memories that are evoked.

Ondine means wave-like so is perfect.
My wife wanted another Colin Farrell movie! Having recently been in Ireland she wanted to see the scenery again and hear the accent! A sweet story of a fisherman who finds what he thinks is a mermaid in his net and her singing helps his catch. He has a daughter to whom he is devoted but she lives with his ex partner. The daughter is seriously ill and needs a kidney replacement. It's a beautiful movie with a few twists and turns.

Sums up the title perfectly.
This movie deals with a taboo subject. Set in beautiful scenery it tells the illicit story of a brother and sister who were parted as children and then meet again as adults. There are really only 3 main characters in the story. My wife wanted this movie mostly because Alan Rickman is in it! He plays the very wealthy husband of the sister. Great acting from all three.
