I mount one with the bracket to the drywall and the other I mounted without the supplied bracket (a lot more work I mounted it to a piece of wood, between two studs in the wall, the old one was mounted this way) Either way you do it this product works great. Also this product is larger/deeper than the older ones, which allows the larger rolls of toilet paper to fit much nicer.
