Holds batteries like a battery holder should!
It works just fine!! I wish it held more AA batteries, but not a big deal at all. I did use the the picture from the listing to figure out which batteries would fit where.

Works well, very stable even with larger Garmin units
Works well with Drivesmart 6x series. That thing is huge! This mount is more stable than the older Garmin friction mount with the beanbag base.

Solid value for the cost, and sturdy construction.
Assembly was fairly straightforward - Follow the directions EXACTLY and you will be fine. The arms are sturdy and stay where you put them. Getting monitos off my desk made a huge difference in available space. Downsides - The monitors are set where you put them. You lock them into place with an Allen wrench. If you want to rearrange, you need to use the wrench to make adjustments.
