Good Value

I purchased this grips to replace the OEM grips on my Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced. I was pleased with the overall value of the grips. The supplied screws are nothing to brag on, but I was more interested in the grips.

Handy and Inexpensive

Handy 6 inch size with clear markings. Cheap enough that when lost, you won't cry and with 5 to a pack, you can just pick up another.

Does the Job for a Reasonable Price

I've used this to remove through-hole components from circuit cards and clean up pads on circuit boards, including SMD pads. Product works pretty well, but the tip can oxidize pretty fast - I have a small wire brush I use to clean it. Vacuumed solder is easily disposed of from the chamber. Multi-layer boards can be a problem - but that's not the fault of gun, they can dissipate a lot of heat. Single and double-sided boards are a piece of cake. Only 'complaints' I have are the oxidizing tip and it does take it a bit to get to working temperature. Overall this is a good value and I have no regrets in making the purchase.
