Miss Piggy
For anyone who grew up with Seasame Stree know Miss Piggy oftern takes the spotlight and is remembered for being a classy lady...Miss Piggy. The Hallmark ornament was a gift for daughter-in-law who loves the Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. Now she has both of them to adorn her tree this year. Received the ornament in a timely fashion and it was well packaged in its original box. Pleased with my purchase and acquiring a piece of memorabilia.

A pocket size book with realistic drawings
I admire Cicely Mary Barker's art and books, published, illustrating her work. Flowers-Fairies of the Wayside was a purchase made to add to my book collection which I share with my granddaughter. Though the book itself is small, it is a perfect size to tuck under a pillow as one prepares for a night's sleep and perfect for sharing with someone who may need to be tucked in. The drawings and paintings are realistic due to Barker's meticulous research about the plants and flowers' which all have the correct country names and has she painstakingly worked in very detailed features, of real plants, as she created her drawings. Of course, as she states, there is an element of true parts and pretend parts in her book and children will be able to tell the difference when reading the book. She does admit to never have seen a fairy but it is fun to pretend. Her fairy flower books have inspired others to create their own flower fairies. Her books are an inspiration for anyone who love plants and flowers and enjoy poetry all wrapped into one book.
