Very colorful and bright
I tested it out on me and Arduino Uno Arduino Nano and digispark and after fiddling with the code on all of them it has worked on all just as well as something put out by a neopixel ring. The colors almost blinding if you turn it up. I was very happy with the fact that this the rain could be powered by all of my microcontrollers. Works excellent as lighting for eBay items which is what I originally intended to use it for.

Great Case for projects
This enclosure is easy to drill into and modify if needed. The 2 pieces hold together very well and snap together strong. fits dev boards nice and tight. Plenty of room for wires and other sensors, boards etc... The black color is a good touch too because it makes it easier to hide. Now, I never used this for any kind of amplifier project, instead I used one to enclose a couple boards and wiring that needed to be kept from getting splashes of water onto them and it worked perfect. If you have a project with some pieces that need to be tucked away, this is a great solution. If I had to name one bad thing about it, is that is does kind of feel cheap when being held like it probably would not hold well up to higher temps. So keep it away from open flames, which shouldn't come as a surprise. High board temp probably wouldn't be a problem unless it's going to the extreme end.

Interesting board
I find these small soldering kits to be relaxing. This is no different, though i found the solder did not really want to flow through on this board which made me wonder if it would work. It worked just fine. The 4 blue LEDs fade in and out like breathing, and the pot can be adjusted to make the fade fast or slow. Very bright for just 4 LEDs too. Be warry of the instructions however, since the resisters are missing r3 i believe and doubles down on r4 which are both different resistance. Just go by the labels on the board which say what resistance to use. I did find the 12v power to be odd so i just soldered a barrel onto it to use a wall outlet 12v supply. Haven't tried any other voltage lower, which may work afaik, considering the labeling is off. Overall, it is a nice little board to put together. Didnt have to translate the instructions. Makes for interesting ambient light or maybe it can be used to time your breathing in breathing exercises if put at the right interval? Idk. But for the price, its at the very least, a decent board to practice soldering.
Update, I've had this item for at least six months and it has been running nonstop under my desk the entire time. I've never put a practice board together that has lasted so long. I moved it to 5 stars from 4 for that reason. Crazy that such a cheap board is so dang reliable.
