good moderate support brace
light weight brace offers moderate support. Yes, it does fray quickly around the thumb holes but 5 minutes with a needle and thread turns this item into a serviceable brace. Washes easily. No metal splints . My last ones had metal splints which themselves caused quite a lot of pain after a while. My problem is no cartilage in the base of my thumbs.
