Active cooling in tight spaces
I use this fan to provide a bit of active cooling to a DirecTV HR54 Genie DVR that is in a confined (low overhead) space. Paired with a multiple voltage A.C. adapter I can run the fan 24/7 at a low speed so it is inaudible but still moves enough air around the Genie to keep the internal temperature to ±75°.

Great basic indoor outdoor tempurature humidity monitor
Basic but very but high quality temp and humidity monitor, well constructed with great range from transmitter to display. No fancy bells and whistles which was exactly what I wanted at a great price.

Always OEM replacements
I may be accused of drinking the Kool-aid but I've always insisted on genuine APC replacement batteries for the three Smart-UPS 1500's I use for my computer's and A/V components and it is great to be able to find what I need at competitive prices from ebay vendors like BecTech from whom the savings on the shipping alone are substantial.
