Easy to make, the village then assembles in minutes and stores flat.
EASY to assemble -- simple rectangular profiles; all the cuts are straight lines. We cut the roof slots with an exacto and cutting mat. The roofs rest on tabs and are not glued on. Glue the two house bits carefully to line up the tabs so that the houses will fold completely flat. The whole village disassembles in two minutes. You can store the whole set in a hosiery box or stationery box. There's a map in the back to use as a template for the roads and gardens. They recommend chipboard for that, but it would rock as a hooked rug.
