Solid construction
The vice when it arrived seems to have a light covering of cosmoline or similar (a good thing!) so needs a good cleaning down and relubricating before use. The construction is metal and is reasonably heavy.
The suction base leaves a little to be desired however. While it does work it's not going to stay clamped down on any surface that isn't absolutely free from dust etc (this was expected and in no way detracts from my particular use of the vice)
This is an ideal table top vice for locksporters at a fraction of the cost of some of the 'named' brands.

Great speaker
Plenty of volume, battery lasts well.
It's an older model but great for the price point that you can find them now.

Essential tiol
Core shims are an almost essential item for locksmiths or locksporters. These are a perfect thickness and have good strength.
