Very poor
1 von 9 finden das hilfreich The first 2 discs in black & white were of poor quality even considering the age but disc 3 consisted of just MP3 recordings of the audio of the TV shows - you heard sounds and speech but you could not relate them to anything that would have been on the screen. There is nowhere warning you of this before you buy. Had I known I would not have bought the series.

Martin Shaw is a great actor and was the right guy to play a judge who has a social conscience and who relishes taking on the establishment. He is also happy to go after anything in a skirt which makes for some interesting confrontations with female colleagues one of whom is his ex-wife and the other his ex-girlfriend. The series gives a good insight into what could be considered a corrupt judicial system in this country.
My only gripe is that the copy I bought was a Dutch import in which Dutch subtitles had to be switched off on every disc.
