drill vice
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Better than the cheap alloy one that I had before. Some sharp edges on the vice when I first got it but soon knocked them off with a file. Screw thread that holds the acme thread to the moving jaw required a tap running through it to allow the screw to fit into the slot on the acme thread. Other than that it does the job I require of it.

1.6W laser module
The fact it comes with Glasses and driver board make this a very useful bit of kit. Only downside I have found is no instructions or info on the driver board. After a closer inspection I found that what I assume to be the current limiting variable pots have been glued so I am assuming that the current limit has been set.
I bit the bullet and powered up the laser (wearing glasses) and there was light. Mounted it to my cnc machine and powered up again but this time controlled by the ttl input via the pwm on my cnc machine.
Using the lowest power I could I started focusing, I found a bit difficult as the focusing ring is stiff but I got to where I thought the best focus was. I upped the power and smoke started coming from my machine bed (plywood) switched off and there was a burn mark. Powered up again and this time jogged the x axis and it made a very thin burn line on my machine bed.
I am still playing with the pwm settings but I can vary the intensity of the beam by different settings so I think I can say it works, or if you watch Forged in Fire, "it will cut".
