Canon SX30IS
If you're looking for a great all round camera this is it! Having owned previous versions of Canons bridging cameras I can honestly say that this, the latest version is incredible. If the bright, clear, unbelievably powerful lens isn't enough then the myriad of functions and Canons logical and simple menu will win you over.
If you feel like taking it easy and allowing the camera to sort out your shots, then the 'smart' auto setting will automatically decide the best set up for the shot.
I use mine for backpacking where I need a small pack size, powerful lens, long battery life and robust build quality. This camera ticks every box.
Buy one, you won't be disappointed!
