Katie Melua Captivating Voice
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this as I had heard Katie sing "Close to Crazy" which I had thought was terrific. I wanted to know more. For someone with such a mature sounding voice she is young and the DVD was useful in allowing us to understand her more.
The CD was interesting though all the songs were perhaps not as Crazy. Firstly, it is surprising to see Mike Batt involved with this. He has done a good job and has reduced his old tendency to pump up the bass, which was so distinctive in his seventies and eighties hits. I was pleased that they tried, very sucessfully, a John Mayall song "Going up the Hill". As for the rest it is not as distnctive but still intresting and worth hearing.
A talent to lok out for.

Good cd
An interesting and set of CDs from Kissin who sometimes tries too hard. But this was a good selection.
