I’m always looking for tools to expand my repertoire and have these “universal” sockets in other drive sizes. They are very nice in quality and the socket rail is a huge bonus. I definitely recommend.

Easily made to be a great addition to your tool box.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich First, this set isn't a 1/4" drive socket set. It's meant for the pass-through type ratchets and I bought this set with every intention of buying the ratchet as well. However, once I had the set, I realized there wasn't any need to buy the ratchet. The outer hex on each socket is 13 mm, so I can use one of several ratcheting wrenches I have. Sweet! I have a standard reversible ratcheting combination wrench, a reversing "S" ratcheting wrench, an adjustable flex-head ratcheting wrench and an elbow type ratcheting combination wrench. All I need now is a reversible ratcheting half-moon wrench and I'll have almost unlimited combinations. It does bother me that there is no band or grip in the groove at the bottom of each socket. You need something to hold the socket in the wrench. I tried using o-rings, but they are all too thick and won't allow the socket to go in. I ended up using the little clear 1/4" stretchy hair bands that my wife has. They are plentiful and cheap so I keep several in a slot of the clear plastic Harbor Freight 18-compartment storage container in case I break one. I store two sockets in each compartment and removed the remaining dividers to hold the wrenches. Best idea I've come up with yet.

This is a great set! I already have the 1/4 and 3/8” sets, but this is the master set which includes the 1/2”. The set is in great condition and will do well along side my other sets.
