Pure Evoke 2S DAB FM Digital Stereo Radio

30 Watts of DAB

I bought this version because it has stereo speakers built in driven by 30 watts of power. It has bass & treble controls but to me doesn't sound as good as expected - NB doesn't make it bad just an expectation thing! It has a "rewind" facility which I haven't got to grips with & often when I turn it on it has to retune to find the station again. The display is useful, giving info on the current DJ etc. It also has an external input so it can be used with an mp3 player. It looks like there's a sensor for a remote control on the front, but can't find any info about a remote for this model. It has a lot of buttons, most of which I haven't used yet :-) Overall it makes a pleasant sound & does what I wanted in the kitchen.

What The Bleep - Down The Rabbit Hole (DVD)

Very interesting subject. More "nuts & bolts" than "The Secret", but still down the "Law Of Attraction" (L.O.A.) road in as much as we have more control over our lives than we think we do! What we attract / manifest in our lives is due to what we focus on with emotion & repetition. The more we focus on "Oh no, why me?, why now?" then the more negative things we attract into our lives. This DVD gets into the Quantum Physics / Mechanics of how our thoughts affect physical things (including of course our own feelings!) The results of some of the tests done are quite stunning, even if you are a non-beleiver in the subject. Very thought provoking...... I enjoyed it anyhow!

Great speaker for the money!

We auditioned one in a store and liked it but not the price, so we found this one on eBay and jumped in. It's easy to use, looks good and sounds so much better than the cheap 32" telly it's paired with. Very happy with the purchase. Fast delivery too!
