Great amp. Don't be afraid to try one, you will really be pleasantly surprised.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have been playing professionally for over 58 years. I have used Fender, Boogie, Tone King and others so I can appreciate the virtues of each.
The Katana 100 112 sounds wonderful right out of the box. It's powerful and very loud with a full, rich tone. The "Panel" setting uses the amp like any other with the typical controls.
Boss Tone Lab enables the user to fully explore and program the amp to really bring out its potential. It was a little bit of a learning curve for me but I was able to really set up 4 presets that I would compare favorably with individual pedals on a pedal board.
For those who like to tweak, this amp and Tone Lab really offer some great combinations.
At this price point, I believe you can't beat this amp.

Zoom G3X Guitar Effects Processor
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I really liked it and was able to dial in the tones I needed. Then, I read reviews of the G5, returned the G3X and got a G5 which is an expanded version of the G3X. After years of Digitech, Line 6 and Boss processors, I'm liking Zoom better. Seems I can dial in the tones I need easier. I don't like the smaller number of patches per bank when playing live, but I usually don't need more than 3 for a gig. The USB to computer for patch editing is nice. Have not used it for recording or for looping.

Seymour Duncan SHR-1 Neck Black Hot Rails Strat Pickup
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Bought this to install in the neck position of a Tele. It sounds good but has too much output to balance with the other 2 pickups. And the tone was dark and bassy. Ended up replacing this with a Cool Rails.
