A good time killing game.
I like this version of the game. I had played the original on 360 and thought the additions on this version added to the hand held experience. There are lots of modes available that keep the game from feeling tedious.
Use the touch screen to choose where the ship is shooting. D-pad is used for the flight direction. Easy to learn how to play for beginners. Just like the original, this game becomes highly difficult and highly addicting.
I have the same gripes about long term game play using the DS. You need a pillow to support you hand or else you end up with hand cramps from the poor ergonomics of the DS.

Online play is smooth with the exception of the occasional guy who has lag. I own the PS3 copy and I have no glitches. Story mode will leave you wanting. They really cut it short in this game. You can get through story mode in about 10-15 min if you know what you are doing.
If you like fighting games and you have an good internet connection, I highly recommend.
